The National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project is pleased to congratulate Mr. Case and these students on an outstanding energy education signature project submission: Work Harder? Nope. Work Smarter.

Southern Guilford High was selected as:

  • North Carolina School of the Year
  • National Senior Level School of the Year
  • Exemplary Community Education Project

Mr. Case and these students have been invited to celebrate their wins and be recognized at the 46th Annual NEED Youth Energy Conference and Awards scheduled for Friday, June 26 – Monday, June 29, 2026 in Washington, D.C.
