Parents: Approve Your Child’s Academic Plan by April 19th

Course approval is needed from parents for the courses that their students have selected.

Attention Parents and Students,

Please see the directions below from GCS stating how to approve your student’s academic plan (course selections) for the 2026-27 school year.  If you would like to make any changes to the courses your student selected, please first check the approval box and then complete this form to indicate your requested changes: https://forms.gle/X1Chsynbca2vvgin8

 

How to Approve Your Child’s Academic Plan


Step 1: Log into your Campus Parent account

Access the Campus Parent Portal using one of the options below:

Option A:  Visit www.gcsnc.com → Select Portals → Under Families → Campus Parent Portal
                                                             or log in directly using:
Option B:  https://410.ncsis.gov/campus/portal/parents/psu410guilfordco.jsp

Enter your username and password, then select Log In.


Step 2: Select Your Student

If you have more than one child listed, choose the student whose academic plan you want to review.


Step 3: Open the Academic Plan

1.     Select Academic Plan link under the Menu section on the left.

2.     Click Next on the Academic Plan overview page.


Step 4: Review the Academic Plan

Review the course requests for the upcoming school year.

            Questions or concerns? Please contact your child’s school counselor.


Step 5: Approve the Academic Plan

1.     Check the approval box next to your name at the top left of the page.

2.     Click Save.

              Your child’s academic plan is now approved.
