Southern Guilford FAFSA Breakfast Event

Parents and Students: Join us to receive help completing the FAFSA and have a light breakfast! We will have FAFSA experts on hand to provide assistance and answer questions. 

If you haven’t started yet, here are some first steps as listed on CFNC.org.  Please have your account set up before coming to the help session! 

The first step to filling out the FAFSA is to set up an account at StudentAid.gov. You will need to enter your name and Social Security Number (SSN) exactly as it appears on your SSN card.

ProTip: Double check to make sure you entered your information correctly, as typing errors are the most common mistakes students make. It can take 1-3 business days for your account to be verified and ready to use, so be sure to set up your account at least a few days before you are ready to fill out your FAFSA.
