S. Evans, a Southern High junior, was the winner of the Summit Rotary Student Improvement Award.
Congratulations to S. Evans, junior at Southern Guilford High School for being selected as a Summit Rotary September winner of the Student Improvement Award. Evans, along with her nominator were honored at the Summit Rotary meeting in sharing the hard work and dedication she has put in to overcoming many different obstacles in her life. Thanks to Summit for providing her with a $100 visa gift card and her nominator with a $50 visa gift card!
Summit highlights middle and high school students who are striving to overcome many different obstacles in their life. This award was designed specifically for those students who once were not caring or trying, not showing up for school, failing classes, getting into trouble, and generally “headed down the wrong path,” but have now made a personal choice to change their lives.
