Hello! I am the Spanish interpreter at SGHS. I am from Monterrey, Mexico.

I worked as an Elementary School teacher in Public Schools in Mexico for 11 years.  I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Educational Psychology in Mexico.

I have been working for GCS for 10 years in distinct roles (Teacher Assistant EC, Spanish Interpreter and Spanish Teacher).

Since I was a child, I felt a passion for teaching and learning another language, without imagining that one day I would be living in another country with a different culture and language.

I love my job because I, too, once experienced the frustration of learning a second language, and not being able to express in words or writing what was in my thoughts.

I have always believed and experienced that for a school community to grow strong and resilient, effective communication is essential.

I believe that effective communication based on respect can create relationships of trust and understanding that make the school community a family of loyalty, belonging, and unity.

Being an interpreter allows me to facilitate communication in two different languages, ensuring that the language barrier does not prevent effective communication and understanding of the cultural background between people.

If you need help, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Si necesita ayuda, por favor no dude en ponerte en contacto conmigo.
